The Liberals can't do anything even if they wanted to without the provinces. So the question is did the gov try to get the provs on board and fail, or did they just cop out?
Personally I think a national drug agency to get prices lower is a good idea, but maybe now is not the best time to implement an expensive program like pharmacare/dental/childcare given already massive COVID gov , unless govs are willing to increase taxes to pay for it and Canadians are cool with that.
