I don't think Trudeau is obsessed with being the "good guy", he's obsessed with being seen as the "good guy". He's addicted to getting lots of positive attention from others. He was a teacher so he likes being in front of people having everyone paying attention to him & how wonderful he thinks he is, he studied drama and has done some acting & loves the attention, and PM is the role of a lifetime. He's been swooned over since birth, he would have been the cute popular famous kid growing up in school.
He loves women and women love him...and he loves women loving him. His #1 political priority has been "saving" women from the evils of oppression, like a white knight to the rescue & the praise of lovely ladies swooning for him even more for it. He loves being the handsome dreamboat on the cover of magazines etc. He craves to be as adored as his father was.
He loves doing good deeds for all sorts of victimized groups & let's as many people as possible know about it, & he craves being seen as the "good guy" on the international stage. He loves all the positive attention being PM gives him, so he can be Canada's hero. I think his wife is the same, they're made for each other.
