Yup, just keep borrowing until we lose all that. Like I said, waldo believes in borrowing just because you can.

JT was born wealthy, I'd be willing to bet he has never taken out a mortgage or loan in his life. Unlike most Canadians, his income and pensions are indexed to inflation, why would anyone expect him to understand finances.

Simple, devalue your currency, your debt to GDP goes down even if your GDP doesn't rise. Of course everyone who doesn't have an income indexed to inflation is poorer, but so what. Seems you didn't learn anything from the nineties and what forced Chretien and Martin to slash spending. It was creditors saying if you don't get your spending under control, we will no longer buy your debt.
