The monarchy doesn't do a ton, especially in Canada with the role given to the GG for most functions, it's largely a ceremonial role. I'm not sure what you're looking for beyond that. She also has come over to Canada less and less because she was old as dirt.
Yeah the point isn’t that I expect her or her successors to do more, it’s that the lack of tangible achievements makes the outpouring of public mourning extremely mystifying to me.
