I also respect the decisions of the justice system and understand they have to conform to a fixed set of rules but that doesn't mean I stop thinking. So you won't admit to what you think. OK.

I expect in both cases that the court has far, far, far more information at its disposal concerning the case than I have. Yes rules are important, but I believe an ignorant public is dangerous.

I would say I recognize that I am sufficiently ignorant of the details to go along with someone pointing a finger. The problem is that there are many more who are far more ignorant, but incapable of recognizing that fact.

And I would suspect that ignorance may well enhance racial intolerance. The old "tar 'em all with the same brush" concept comes to mind.
