Quebec gives EV rebates up to $8000 and receives 13 billion in equalization, much of it from Alberta. Add the federal rebate of $5000 and you have $13,000 in subsidies to EV buyers. That money doesn't come from renewable energy revenues.
And what makes you think that revenue can't come equally from renewables once the transition is complete?
