They’re going to lose big because their policies are complete s**t.  Even lifelong Democrats have figured that out.

The Democrats have no interest in pursuing any policy that address society's problems or make life better for people.

The alternative, a cult of raving fascists dedicated to making life worse for just about everyone, is several orders of magnitude worse.

leadership review results brings a Jason Kenney resignation... and as the waldo writes, the UCP cabinet is "wrestling" with naming an interim leader - or, alternatively, letting Kenney stay on as Premier/leader until a leadership campaign names his successor. The rumour mill is rife with possibles, even dipping into a few names with federal ties like Michelle Rempel and the always go-to Rona Ambrose. This post by Ambrose seems a tad "political" for someone not interested in running!

I have found a metaphor for the Freedumb folks within the Conservative parties...  Conservatives need to save face.

Ambrose, Rempel, Brian Jean, Danielle Smith, just a murderer's row of has-beens and never-wases.

lame-duck 'Premier' Kenney says what?

Alberta Court of Appeal ruling... advisory in nature! - an appeal to the same SCOC that found the carbon tax constitutional! Oh Jason!

the list of candidates for the UCP leadership/Alberta Premier to replace Jason Kenney continues to grow! So far 8 people have formalized their intent:

=> former leader of the Wildrose Party, current UCP backbencher - Brian Jean
=> former leader of the Wildrose Party - Danielle Smith
=> former Children’s Services minister - Rebecca Shulz
=> former Transportation minister - Rajan Sawhney
=> current UCP backbencher - Leela Aheer
=> current Independent MLA - Todd Loewen,
=> Amisk Mayor - Bill Rock
=> former Finance minister - Travis Toews... speaking of:

ya ya, Rempel is 'contemplating' a run for the UCP leadership! Perhaps she's realized tying herself to Patrick Brown's CPC leadership campaign is a non-starter! As she closes, giddyup...

You know MRG loves Alberta from all the time she spends in Oklahoma.

new UCP leader with the foregone conclusion... concluded! Let the misinforming bullshyte begin with Alberta's new Premier (designate) Danielle Smith thanking Alberta - all 0.9% of Albertans who actually voted for her! Where "thanking Alberta" reflects upon the 85000 out of 120000 eligible UCP members who actually voted - where 53% of that 85000 actually voted for her! Where, apparently, 53% represents a "UNITED" party... with only ~8 months to the next scheduled provincial election!

Kenney was shown the door because he got about 52%, which was unacceptable. Now the party is unified and electable with her 53% support. I never thought the NDP would be back in pwer after one term, but there you go.

Don't underestimate how stupid people in this province are, particularly Calgarians.
