You can't know other experiences, but it helps to understand that your experiences shape your initial reactions and judgments unconsciously which then affects other people's lived experiences (as well as your own honestly). The key points for this forum here are understanding the differences between sex and gender (ie, why gender is a constructed), understanding the differences between equality and equity in program development and evaluation, and understanding what intersectionality actually is and how it affects literally everyone (as opposed to being the "oppression Olympics").
