This is incorporated into existing practices, sorry.
Design practices that force you to look at what you're producing from the eyes of the user are essential. And adopting them is sometimes a head-turner.
I worked for a company that did work for the GTAA - the Toronto Airport basically. They were trying to see where their users came from. Of course Google was #1... Yahoo... other popular sites... but WAAAY up there was a site called 51.ca
What the hell was it ?
https://www.51.ca/Of course you can't think like another person. You have to ask them what they think. Presumably they got a lot of non-english speakers into a focus group, added prominent symbology etc.
