What could they do to coerce him, exactly? Force him to sell his properties at a profit?

He has a mortgage with a bank (a bank that is operating under UK regulations). Nothing more, nothing less.

The articles  about it always say “he owes the Chinese” money....   they breeze by the point fact that it’s a regulated bank and they never actually say how the Chinese would blackmail him through a bank....

So maybe Wilber and ConspiratardGraham will explain it to us.

MacKay's environment plan reads much like what outgoing leader Andrew Scheer pitched to voters in the last election — a promise to achieve "advances in technology," invest in "carbon sequestration" and to sell Canadian natural gas around the world to displace coal as a source of energy.

He said the problem with Scheer's plan was not the substance but how it was communicated to voters.

Speaking to reporters after the debate, O'Toole dodged questions about whether he thought systemic racism exists in Canada but promised to tackle prejudice.

"There is racism in Canada. We will stamp out any instances of racism, unfairness or discrimination.

O'Toole's campaign issued the release late Friday, saying it had filed a formal complaint with police seeking an investigation into MacKay's organization.

The complaint involves the theft of confidential campaign and strategy data and alleges the O'Toole campaign's systems were hacked earlier this week.

Erin O'Toole is annoying.
"The economy has been relatively strong but Trudeau has chosen to run deficits year after year & has said will continue to do so well into the future.  This means we'll be in a worse & more vulnerable financial position when a recession hits when we HAVE to run deficits again." - Me, Oct. 3, 2019

The right for their kids not to learn about LGB and especially TQ people, and sex in general, I expect.

If Peter McKay is counting on gas replacing coal, he hasn't checked the price of gas or read a damn thing this year!

They also are proposing rights for parents to have a say in whether their trans kids can get hormone therapy etc.
