we almost had a constitutional crisis over a $90,000 cheque

While we did have constitutional crisis over other issues, on this issue you are totally misrepresenting it.

They already have the not-for-attribution information given to the media, even though it was attributed anyway. They are asking for more details which are confidential, and now saying they don't want to be held accountable for keeping them confidential. If they really want to get confidential details from Daniel Jean, then they need to do it responsibly - period. This is all just posturing by the Conservatives, which is fine, but lets not pretend it is otherwise.

What they want is for the guy to tell them what he allegedly told the media, then presumably want to ask him what evidence he has to support his statement.
You might tell yourself the evidence, or the source of it is secret, but I find that difficult to believe. The Canadian government does not have any external espionage service.

They already know what he told the media, and more because they have been attributed to him. Yes, evidence is the real question here. There are many potential reasons why the evidence must be kept secret, you realize we share information with many allies (Five eyes for example). This is just a pissing contest, pretending otherwise is naive or cheer leading.

There may be no evidence and Trudeau is just bullshyting.
There may be plenty of evidence and Scheer is just posturing.

The real point is Scheer is chicken to find out for sure, otherwise he would look at the evidence offered and come back and say it was bull. He won't however because he doesn't have the guts.

There is no sane explanation of how this individual has been featured in chummy pictures with half the Liberal leadership for the last ten years, including Trudeau, and the bizzaroworld conspiracy theories that India is somehow responsible for getting a Trudeau MP to invite him to yet another meeting with Trudeau and company in India. Your so-called security guy, who has little actual security experience, is an idiot, and so are the politicians who put him up to this.

If Sheer was a "REAL" Canadian, he'd be chugging that Milk from a bag.

Milk in a bag is an eastern thing.

Tangent alert:

Milk in a bag is an eastern thing.

Not in this eastern household, I can't stand bags that fall over and spill or leave a stinking mess in the bottom of the holder.

Charles would chide me for that.

Can't buy them in BC. Cartons or jugs only.

You’re right! I remember growing up they were available in 3 packs, delivered to the house.

When did the bagless revolution happen?  I totally missed it.

I am guessing when you guys put a deposit on jugs, something we don't have in the east. I don't remember the bags being delivered, only glass bottles.

Yes, bottles.  Milk comes in bottles.  Always has, always will.

This will date me but when I was a kid I can remember bottles of un homogenized whole milk being delivered in winter with a nice frozen popsicle of cream sticking out of the top of the bottle.
