The federal Libs didn’t seem to have any coherent plans to bring something like testing into place quickly in the case of other variants or other COVID related setbacks.

They should’ve had this planned and ready to roll in a moment’s notice.  Instead, confusion and chaos.

CBC News has asked Health Canada to clarify when the arrival testing program will start and what form it will take when it's operational.

Ottawa requiring COVID-19 testing for some travellers, consulting experts on booster shots
Asked Thursday if airports are ready to hand out tests or arrange for on-site testing, the president of the Canadian Airports Council, the organization that represents many of the country's airports, said he's still not sure how the program will work.

"Unfortunately, we have no new information on how or when the new testing requirements will be implemented," Daniel-Robert Gooch told CBC News.

Gooch said it's simply not feasible to test all incoming passengers in the arrival halls of the country's largest airports.

Backbenchers not happy with Trudeau.  Cabinet shuffle was a flop.

“This cabinet shuffle was not in any way based on merit, or people that deserved to go in cabinet: That sentiment is shared by a lot of people. What really actually changed?” said a third MP. “I’ve told my colleagues, ‘Guys I don’t think anything’s changed: It’s the same advisors around the prime minister, the same finance minister, the same deputy prime minister, same industry minister. Whether they’re good or bad, it doesn’t matter, it’s the same senior advisers making same decisions. So, what actually changed? That’s the way I look at it. I don’t think this cabinet shuffle is anyway a morale booster for caucus.”

The Hill Times spoke with six backbench Liberal MPs from different regions of the country for this article and all expressed their reservations about some of the choices that Trudeau made.

To be fair waldo, you turn every thread you post into a spot to spam your anti-PP memes and Liberal Party propaganda.

You don't seem to mind when Shady's doing the same thing, every thread he posts in?

What did they think would happen?  They've moved the same mediocre talents to new jobs and expect them to stop being mediocre?

Getting human dumpster-fire Funghi Fettuccine out of Public Safety is a great move, of course. Getting him out of cabinet is addition-by-subtraction.   And getting a few long-time hangers on like Carolyn Bennett to shuffle along perhaps creates some room for a new face to shine. But mostly it's the same underwhelming people operating under the same underwhelming leadership.

Also wondering if Former Truth Minister Pablo is a close personal friend of Justin.  Shuffling Pablo to a safe new portfolio and leaving Pascale St Onge to handle the online news fiasco in the Heritage department seems like the kind of favor somebody would do for a friend.

Not true, I put him on ignore on the other board a long time ago.  Can't remember if he's still on ignore though, don't even know if he posts there.

There's a difference between being a partisan and being a literal propagandist who makes professional-styled posts who very likely works for the party you're pumping and disappears the week or 2 before every election.  All hands on deck!

"Professional-styled" is a stretch.
