It wasn’t about just one statue.  But that’s irrelevant. It’s not anyone’s to tear down.  Go through the proper process if you don’t like a statue.  You don’t get to destroy private property just because you don’t like it.

The amount of time and energy you spend being intentionally stupid is incredible. The city council that voted to remove the statue, that's what the Nazis were upset about.

City Council votes to remove Lee statue

Quote
Last month’s City Council vote on a motion to remove the statue of General Robert E. Lee deadlocked 2-2 and left the chamber in disarray for 30 minutes. The issue was back on the agenda February 6 after Councilor Bob Fenwick announced he was changing his abstention to a vote to remove the statue, and council voted 3-2 to pack up Lee.

Is City Council the "proper process" or do you think this stuff should be decided by your white supremacist buddies?

Well, that explains why they would march under Nazi flags and chant "Jews won't replace us!"
The neo nazis?  Yes, it does.  Btw, everything you disagree with isn’t racist, despite your best efforts.

I wonder why this idiot is so hell-bent on defending the people who attended a neo-Nazi rally? I guess it's true what they say: hit dogs holler.

In the old days, before our society was overrun with victimized, dim-witted, emotional, gullible adult-babies who stopped maturing intellectually at 13 years old, a politician like this would be ridiculed and get 2% of the vote, tops.

Social media has allowed the fringe element to thrive, and manipulate the uneducated, angry, lonely, and bitter people of the World. It also manipulates people who do not follow politics and history.  Tucker Carlson is the result of unregulated information online.

The United States is taking a cue from Belarus, and dumping migrants at the Canadian border:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/migrants-roxham-road-new-york-city-bus-1.6738824

Asylum seekers can go from New York City to parts of the state near the U.S. border with Canada — and later attempt to cross at Roxham Road — with a bus ticket paid for by American authorities. Mayor Eric Adams's office says it does not finance tickets to Roxham Road, and does not help people cross the Canada-U.S. border. But people who want to go to Plattsburgh, N.Y., — which is near the Canadian border — can do so by bus.

"Our goal is to help asylum seekers who wish to move to another location," Kate Smart, a New York City spokesperson, told Radio-Canada.

For several months, New York City has been facing an "unprecedented crisis," she said.

New York's newly opened migrant assistance centres are overwhelmed. Every week, several Republican states send hundreds of people to the northeast after they arrive from Mexico. The mayor made the decision "to help [these people] reach their final destination, even if it is not New York," said Smart.

"A lot of people who got here by bus didn't want or weren't planning on going to New York, or didn't want to stay here long-term."

Community organizations "have also helped issue tickets for those who want to go elsewhere," she says. The city says it will give financial help to those trying to get somewhere else. For many, that somewhere is the Canadian border.

----

Great.

Canada grew by nearly 1,000,000 people in 2022, and we simply do not have the manpower to construct enough housing for the new immigrants.  This is going to cause housing prices to skyrocket.

Biden’s state of the union speech is a mixture of a slurring of words and occasional yelling.  It’s painful to watch.  Prediction.  Joe Biden will NOT run for a second term.  This is brutal.

That was Marjorie, who was clearly deep in the sauce. Joe was awesome, as usual.

Broebert's skin was the same colour as the diarrhea eating at her restaurant gave people.
