Sorry I used so many big words. I said I think it should go to arbitration. That means having another guy listen to both sides and then decide what's fair.
Your tone really changes though huh?  No worries, it’s what I’ve come to expect.

My tone? You would have to be able to hear me to hear my tone. It's very, very squawky.

But I just advocated for exactly what Biden is doing, which is also what I said Doug Ford should do.

Biden trades a Russian arms dealer to free a stupid WNBA player, but leaves a Marine behind, still jailed in Russia.

That arms dealer should be in prison for life.

Possibly. But, for better or worse, Viktor Bout was only sentenced to 25 years, and given the time he has already been in custody (both before and after trial), he was due to be released in 2029. So it shortens his sentence by under 7 years.

Brittney Griner was sentenced to 9 years in prison over drug charges. Did she break the law? Yes. But given the relatively small amounts involved and the crimes that she was charged with, it is quite possible that charges against her were excessive and at least partly political in nature.

Was it a good deal? Meh, hard to say. Bout shouldn't be released, but Griner shouldn't have been subject to possibly trumped up charges.

Omg he is a marine.  They freed a gay black woman on drug charges instead of a marine on spy charges who probably works for the gov.   Biden admin has a weird black woman fetish.

Shiddy doesn't think Black people should be released from jail.

Also LOL at characterizing Paul Whelan as a Marine when he was drummed out of the Corps in 2008 for "attempted larceny, three specifications of dereliction of duty, making a false official statement, wrongfully using another’s social security number, and ten specifications of making and uttering checks without having sufficient funds in his account for payment."

As another poster pointed out... he was not a marine. From Wikipedia:

After a court-martial conviction...he was sentenced to 60 days restriction, reduction to pay grade E-4, and a bad conduct discharge. The specific charges against him included "attempted larceny, three specifications of dereliction of duty, making a false official statement, wrongfully using another’s social security number, and ten specifications of making and uttering checks without having sufficient funds in his account for payment."

So not exactly a sterling example of military honor.

May work for the government, but not necessarily.

Also from Wikipedia:

Former CIA officers have stated that the CIA would not recruit an officer with Whelan's military record, nor leave an officer exposed without a diplomatic passport. They further claim that Whelan's arrest is connected to tensions between Russia and the United States...

So what happened here? Who knows... Fog of war and everything... Maybe he was "working for the government" (although I'd say that was unlikely). Maybe he was engaged in some shady stuff for his own benefit (or for the benefit of someone he was working for). Or maybe he was set up by Russian agents to use him as a bargaining chip.

Just wait till you find out Trump was exchanging love letter with Kim Jong-un while they tortured a U.S. prisoner to death.

It didn’t happen, but nice whataboutism! 😂

Right now Putin’s probably drinking champagne with the merchant of death, soon to be back to his old ways.  Heckuva job Biden.

Cute that you're so worked up about a guy you didn't even know existed before today.
