Wow Canadian politicians really licking Biden's anus hard today.  Embarrassing.

They have American and Canadian flags hanging from the street light poles in downtown Ottawa.  The US would never do that for us.  Major inferiority complex.

It's been that way for as long as I can remember. We are talking about the same Parliament that chanted "Four More Years!" for Obama in 2016.  It's also a intelligent move. Making the leader of the World's most powerful nation, and our largest trading partner feel welcome is just common sense.

Hardly seems like a failure though.

Exactly.  But some people, especially in this forum, would rather hurt Canadians and Canadian businesses just so that they could fill their unhealthy obsession of going after Trump.  So now we have tariffs in place that the Biden administration still hasn’t ended.  But hey, at least we pissed off Trump for a bit! #Winning

Like those tariffs wouldn't have been put in place anyway. Some people are so gullible....

Joe Biden should be impeached.

It doesn't matter how long its been going on.  In fact, that makes it worse.  You can make them feel welcome without taking a submissive position and licking their boots, especially when it would not be reciprocated in the same way when we go visit them.  Congress would not give 2 sh!ts about our visit and I doubt would be bringing their wives and former POTUS's to watch Trudeau speak, if they would even want our PM to speak in Congress.  The entire Canadian political establishment were giddy, it was embarrassing.

We buy a ton of products and services from the US, you can't ask for no better neighbour, we can appreciate them as great ally, but we don't owe them anything, and we might want to keep some self-respect.

The Liberals did fine negotiating with Trump, from the little I know.  They seemed to stand up to him when they had to.

And yet they get on their knees for Biden and act like giddy schoolgirls, it's just weird.  Have some self-respect.

To think all that stuff could have gone to a mid-sized city police department instead.

I have doubts whether it could have.

The MAGAchud often complain about "stuff left behind" in Afghanistan. But many of the supposedly abandoned equipment was actually property of the Afghan government (donated/sold by the U.S. or its allies), so it wasn't property of the US to take back. Given the habit shady has of reading bunk sources, it wouldn't surprise me if all those trucks in the pictures were Afghani property years ago.

Plus... Trump was going to withdraw the U.S. MONTHS before Biden did. Not sure why he thinks Trump would have been able to get all those vehicles back to the U.S. in LESS time.

So... Biden?

Two term president?

Wow.

I don't like him but the alternative party has ghouls on the podium.

Helps the chances of the Republicans to win. Pretty stupid politics.

Not sure it does. I think they like their presidents as old and white as possible. Pete Buttigieg would probably be a good choice but he's gay with the word "butt" in his name. That's unelectable.
