So... Biden?
Two term president?
Wow.
Helps the chances of the Republicans to win. Pretty stupid politics.
Not necessarily.

There ARE risks... Biden's age might be a factor (but only if Republicans reject Trump and pick someone younger themselves), and the economy could take a downturn at an inopportune time.

But primaries are messy. As much as people may not want "old joe" to run again, an open primary with many contenders could result in a blood bath that alienates potential voters. (Plus there is the risk of someone winning the primary and falling victim to some last minute scandal.) Biden is a known quantity... he likely has all his skeletons revealed years ago, and with him in the race there is unlikely to be any major challengers that will result in bitterness in the general election. And, if Trump becomes the republican candidate, Biden has shown he can defeat him in a general election.

And yet Trump will still lose to him.

These are comparable numbers to Trump at the same stage in his presidency.

Yup. The big difference is, Biden showed that he has the ability to actually have his approval rating above 50%, whereas Trump's was pretty much below 50% every year of his presidency.

Overall, but on the economy Trump was much higher than Biden.  Biden is a demented disaster.

Doesn't account for the extent to which Biden's average will be dragged down by retarded Republicans mainlining fox News, they don't count, they're not really people.

That's been the case for at least the last 25 years though.

I don't even see it as a Biden admin really, it's more like a mainstream Democrat admin, a continuation of Obama and Bill Clinton era, and he just signs off on it and acts as figure head, which isn't necessity a criticism.  I can't see the man having enough energy or brainpower at this point to be that involved in the nitty gritty of policy.

His numbers are going to go the way the economy is going, which is mostly out of the control of the admin, and the economy is pretty stagnant.  If the election happened in 2019 before covid I think Trump would have done better at the polls but maybe still not have won.

He’s far from a continuation of Bill Clinton.  Bill Clinton talked about balanced budgets.  Bill Clinton talked about the problem of illegal immigration.  Presidents like Bill Clinton and JFK are no longer welcome in the extreme Democrat party.

Bill Clinton was one of the greatest Presidents of the 20th century.  In 1993, he inherited an economy in the midst of a recession, and created millions of jobs during the 90s. He balanced the budgets far better than Reagan, Bush Sr, Bush Jr, and Trump.

Biden has done a far better job than Trump, in every aspect of the US.  Under Trump's watch, he shrunk the US economy more than any US president in history of the country.

Biden has shown no signs of dementia.  This was always a ridiculous myth perpetuated by the GOP.

Complete nonsense.  You’re using the economy shutdowns of covid to come up with those ridiculous assertions.  Americans gave Trump far better approval of the economy than Biden.  Trump was also the first president in like 50 years not to get involved in any new wars.  Biden quickly changed that.  That’s why any Republican that runs against Biden will win.  Other than Trump because of all his other baggage.

Bill Clinton was definitely good, I would kill for somebody like that in Canada.  However, Bill Clinton also benefited from Bush Sr agreeing to raise taxes a couple of years earlier, and Republican congress that held the line on spending, and a dot com boom.
