NHL did too...  eventually.

The Milwaukee Bucks refusing to play was a powerful gesture.  Kenny Smith taking off his mic and walking off the set was a powerful gesture.  I think what made those things powerful was that they were immediate and spontaneous.

Other sports doing the same later on feels feeble by comparison because it was neither immediate nor spontaneous.

The rioting and white-supremacist vigilantism in the US is becoming a bigger sh1t-show than all the COVIDIOTing.  At times I feel like becoming desensitized but somehow every single day at least one or two things happen to make my eyes roll.

Kyle Rittenhouse is being revered by the right and the face of everything wrong with America for the left.  The differences are so stark, how can they ever overcome them?

Thankfully we live in a country where cozing up to a charity is considered the scandal of the year.  The most excitement we had in our recent history was Quebec's referendum 25 years ago and the DOA Wexit campaign.   

Cheers to being a boring country.
