Anything can happen when both candidates are over 70 and failing and there is a pandemic going on.

The look of joy on my wife's face when I explained the significant chance Pelosi could be president come January.

oh my, member Shady! Even without the ongoing daily shyte show that represents Trump's early onset... even without the teleprompterTrump bumbling, do you really want a throwdown of Biden versus Trump gaffes?  ;D
It’s not really about gaffes as it is about basic competence.  Of course Trump makes more gaffes, but he also speaks in public a million times more than Biden.  They’ve locked up Biden in his basement for weeks.  He pops out once in s while to give a 5 minute interview and then heads back in shelter.

so... are you posturing that Trump is basically competent, or has basic competence?  ;D What's the reference benchmark you're applying?

by the by, surely you're not one of those TrumpToadies who are adamant that Trump doesn't lie or spread dis/misinformation? That's not you, right?

He has a level of competence regarding public communication that Biden seems to have lost.  I don’t say that with any joy.

He {Trump} has a level of competence regarding public communication...

ya ya, so competent: just cause Trump is forever touting his speeches, "as the best speech ever"... his phone calls made public as "perfect", is that your measure of competency? Does a closed-shop Trump rally before MAGAites count as a forum for competency leveling?  ;D

I guess we can agree to disagree.  Everyone can see Biden’s decline.  Hey, this is a new instance of you trying to hide another type of decline huh?! 😂

But geezaz, I sure hope you've honed your denierSkills some... you know, to something relevant today. There's a few climate change related threads just waiting for your magic!

F-ck Justin Amash.

Trump was actually crowing over this!  ;D Apparently, his go-to-campaignBrainiacs have told him Amash will take more votes away from (presumably) Biden, than from Trump himself.

 Probably.

The Trumptards will vote Trump regardless.

Swing voters who voted Trump last time but realized they made a big mistake might have been planning to vote Biden but now have an alternative. I think this probably takes more votes from Biden than from Trump. Whether that's enough to make a difference in the "battleground states" remains to be seen.  Amash isn't exactly a big name, and independent candidates don't matter much.

Polarization is near an all-time high. Electoral success requires an audience willing to consider alternatives, but both social media and traditional media are dominated by voices strongly averse to the political risks posed by a viable third candidate
