Nice idea for sure but unlikely to occur because the republicans in the US are so bigoted. One need only look who they have as their "leader".
Oh, I don't deny that they're huge bigots. The best bigots. Their bigotry is the stuff of legend.

Just that they may try to run a female presidental candidate as a way to cover over their bigotry.  Those bigots will line up to vote for anyone with an R beside their name, as long as they won't take their guns away and will love them some jebus.

Well it seems it's pretty well a done deal that Biden is the man. Hopefully he picks the right running mate and that I hope is not Sanders. Nothing against Sanders but two old white guys in the white house is not what I personally would hope for. I'm giving a thumbs up to Amy. Younger, well educated lawyer, well spoken. Maybe that would not be too hard for the bigots to handle, especially the ones who are finally fed up with Trump.

Well, for what its worth, Biden has said he would select a woman to be his running mate, and Sanders said he "likely" would.

Sarah Pallin was kinda hot I guess, but she's too busy now keeping the TEA hot for her current party. Is Tina Fey interested I wonder?

I think it's sick to objectify female politicians.  On the other hand, boobies.

Nah, Pallin has more important things to do. She's actually busy twerking to the song Baby Got Back on national TV.

Yeah it looks like the nominee will be "sleepy Joe" now. Thank God it isn't Comrade Sanders.

MD has delayed its primary to June. God I love our Endless Election system: the nominee I wanted is gone long before MD gets to vote.

Biden certainly is looking like he is the one who is going to win the nomination.

Sanders isn't numerically defeated however. Unfortunately, he seems intent on staying in the race, which will cement divisions within the Democratic party. (The better decision would be to drop out sooner than later, in order to limit any potential damage to Biden (the likely winner) and to hopefully start healing any rifts in the Democratic party.

I wonder how this virus will affect the election.  Voting in the primaries?  Voters reactions to Trump's response?

Hopefully this is died down by November, people staying at home during an election would be bad.  Mass mail-in ballots are an option, or extending voting day to voting week to reduce crowds.

Anybody else think that Democrats will replace Biden with Andrew Cuomo or Gavin Newsome?

ain't gonna happen; but hey now, anybody else think that U.S. Republicans will provide cover for Trump's refusal to accept an election loss as legitimate - notwithstanding the tactics taken during the recent days Wisconsin primary voting were classic Republican voter suppression - a precursor to November?

but hey now, waddabout Biden's pledge to name a woman as his VP running mate:

The only people not accepting an election as legitimate are Democrats.  I’m sure if they lose in 2020 you’ll hear the same.  Who cares about a woman VP?  It’s been done several times before.  Regardless, genitalia doesn’t make one qualified or not qualified.  I’d seriously consider replacing him at some point soon.  It’s getting pretty bad.

oh my, member Shady! Even without the ongoing daily shyte show that represents Trump's early onset... even without the teleprompterTrump bumbling, do you really want a throwdown of Biden versus Trump gaffes?  ;D

Very difficult to do.  It would have to happen soon and given that Biden is way ahead in polling I would say <1% chance.
