I will have to avoid the news as my TDS has been flaring up lately.

It's been outpacing Corona for some time now.

It is a quote from an old John Wayne film. Something an Indian chief says to Wayne about someone else. Not sure there are many left that would get it.

I like Buttigieg.  He's more of a moderate.  I think he could do the best vs Trump, and is a better candidate than Biden.

They’re idiots.

A Rhodes Scholar graduating from Oxford and Harvard.  A naval intelligence officer.

People seem to want slogans rather than intelligence.

A lot of Dems also want Obama again, any piece they can get of him.  Hillary, Biden, anyone who is connected to him.  But they aren't Obama, he's gone.  Unless Michelle runs again.  People love their political dynasties, even in Canada with Justin.  Good brand recognition so people don't have to actually think.

I agree people are dumb, judge people on their own merits.

He got over 6000 less votes than Sanders...but I can see how you would be confused about what it means to win since Trump got millions less than Clinton and still won.

People whine about the popular vote when the electoral process as it's designed doesn't go their way.  The CPC won the popular vote over the Liberals in 2019, I don't hear you or anyone else on here complaining.  The Iowa caucuses don't run on state-wide popular vote, they run on precincts (which are determined by each's popular vote), the POTUS electoral college doesn't run on national popular vote it runs on a state-to-state popular vote system, the Canadian federal election also doesn't run on national popular vote it runs on a riding system (the ridings won based on popular vote).

Pete is winning Iowa, as per the rules, deal with it.

This is bullshit. I've been advocating for proportional representation forever. People continued to complain about how unrepresentative our electoral system is after the last election.

However, it's pretty rich for you to be advocating for a system other than popular vote when promoting the CPC since if we went to geographical representation they would be relegated to more or less a province and a half out of 10. They would be a regional party with no national interest at all.

I don't think any party with a minority support should get 100% of the power. I have never strayed from that position. The CPC should have more power in Parliament than the Liberals, but not 100%.
