One recalls the blast that turned the town of West, in Texas, into a crater. It was a fertilizer plant, and people had initially wondered if terrorists were behind it. It turns out that the real terrorists were Rick Perry and the Texas regulatory officials who had decided that inspecting industrial sites is expensive and reduces productivity and profits etc etc. "Let us free the job creators from these job-killing regulations!"
Sounds "third world"? Hey, if you want to compete with third-world manufacturers, you gotta have third-world efficiency! Third-world safety standards! Proper procedures? Inspections? Ain't nobody got time for dat!
