An Opportune time to comment further on the question of there being only one president at a time! Is that written in stone or is it much more likely that US foreign policy pays little attention to the rules. The point being, is this Biden's prerogatives now of is it still Trump' wishes we see  being played out. Is this brinkmanship out of character for Trump?

I will humbly suggest that we're well into the Biden presidency and his new approach to US foreign relations as they pertain to Russia.

Just in case the US starts something big that could go nuclear?

That's probably the first time you've made your sentiments known. Interesting for an NDP'er, assuming that's your politics.

as stated, "it's all in the sources"... I simply offered up a link (from NATO itself). In that the NATO information presumes to counter the essence of your linked 'rt' article, are you not even more assured in your repeated reliance on and references to the Russian propaganda 'rt' site?

We disagree waldo, but that's not all that important. Your reference to Nato's first issue that suggests talks with Russia not happening is Russia's fault could be true. Russia isn't going to talk about giving back the Crimea to Ukraine.

Russia has no choice and had no choice when the US fomented rioting was escalated to causing the Ukraine to try to take the Crimea and that could never be allowed to happen because of Russian naval base assets in the Crimea. It's just lucky for Russia that the people voted in the referendum almost unanimously to side with Russia.

The workable arrangement was destroyed by Nato attempting a bridge too far. I'm sure you wouldn't disagree, or at least I assume you won't try.

Not to say I wouldn't be impressed with an attempt?
