Actually, it's more about the underpinning values you have rather than a grocery list of what have you supported or not.

You have to support right wing ideologies to be considered a centrist?   LOL.  Up is down...  down is up with that worldview!

Why this snotty one line post? I don't think anyone could have misunderstood the point. If all the policies you support are Left wing then calling you a centrist is inaccurate.

How many ?  I'd say I support important ones, and am willing to meet half-way on others.

I have been reading your posts/opinions for years and I don't recall any right of centre positions you support.

If I give you one will you be satisfied ?  Or will I have to defend myself for many posts ?

For that matter, your 'centrist' positions are not exactly left-of-centre either.  Most seem to be policies of the Conservative party.  But that realization made me also realize that most of my positions are policies of the Liberal party.  As such, we may both be centrists but neither be on the other side of the line.  Just some thoughts.

I'm not attacking you by saying you appear to be on the Left. I would guess that if we took a poll 90% of other posters would figure the same thing. <shrug> Maybe it's simply the type of positions which come up and are regularly discussed. I'm sure most would figure I'm on the right, and I don't deny being conservative. But I'm a lot closer to centre than some might think simply because the issues which come up for discussion tend to be the ones like immigration and law and order, as opposed to health care.

Ok, well I favour private-public partnerships, conventional economic and trade policies, and security policy.  Also I have expressed support for religious rights for all established religions, which seems to some idiots to favour Islam because ... they just hate Muslims basically.

I can accept being left-of-centre but still centre.

I would say the same thing of myself.  I've definitely shifted to the left over the years.
