How would martial law on January 6th prevent the transfer of government on January 21st.  How would it stop congress from certifying election results?  Answer:  it can’t.

Imagine being so deeply retarded as to be unable to see how a President putting civil functions in the hand of the military of which he is commander-in-chief could be used to overturn an election (while also believing the Emergencies Act is fascist overreach).

This is bananas.

Quote
Fox News host Tucker Carlson aired newly released footage on his show Monday from the January 6, 2021, US Capitol attack, that included images of the rioter known as the “QAnon Shaman,” as well as of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died following the attack.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy granted Carlson access to more than 40,000 hours of the Capitol security footage from January 6. CNN and other news organizations have also requested access to the security footage. McCarthy’s office said it is still working out the process to make the footage “more widely available” but did not comment further.

I didn't realize the DC medical examiner, when saying Brian Sicknick died of natural causes, qualified that by saying “all that transpired (on January 6) played a role in his condition.” Weird that the Trumpers tried to misrepresent his words to exactly the opposite of what he said. What liars. Unbelievable.

Chickens are coming home to roose for Capitol rioters. 18 years for the Oathkeepers guy. Possibly 15 years for this guy who caused life-changing injuries to a cop (which shady will argue to the death didn't happen because then he would have to admit he is brethren with such pieces of sh!t). Fun times.

Never forget that the Oathkeepers guy wears an eyepatch because he dropped his own gun and shot himself in the eye lol.

Now of course the trick is to keep him in jail.

Both Stubby McBonespurs and Meatball Ron (the 2 supposed frontrunners in the republican primaries) have both talked about pardoning "many" of the January 6th terrorists. I don't think they have specifically mentioned any of the oathkeepers guys, but it wouldn't surprise me if the republicans managed to pull off a win in 2024 and he did receive a pardon.

DeSantis has indicated that he may look at pardoning the non-violent, trespassers that have been ridiculously targeted by the weaponized DOJ of the Biden regime.

Easy to say things like that when he's never gonna be president.

That’s where your wrong.  A soup can could be Biden at this point.  Hell, Trump could probably beat him too.  He’s an unmitigated disaster.

Jeb! 2.0 isn't gonna make it out of the primaries.

How were they unfairly targeted?  Should people be allowed to break into the Capitol building at any time?

There weren't any non-violent protesters that were convicted. Everyone who was convicted attempted violent insurrection. Next maybe they should come for those who posted "Burn it down!" while it was happening?

Yes there were.  That shaman guy was convicted for several years, for simply walking around the capital in a weird costume.

No.  I have always said, anyone that physically broke in, was violent and caused damage should be prosecuted.

He pled guilty to his crimes, which included writing a threatening note to Mike Pence. You're a "Hang Pence" guy too? Why are you defending death threats and trying to pretend they didn't happen?
