Discrimination is to racism as weather is to climate. You’re still mixing them up. You’re like the people who claim global warming is a hoax because it snowed last week in Alberta.

Well that's an interesting analogy.

I myself would just discard any comments that are intended to blame.  That goes nowhere.

So you're defining racism as making any generalization about race or saying anything about race then?  Ok.

Of course not.  My post was all about race, but it wasn't racism.  Neither was yours that I'm replying to here.

Let me get this straight though, so we at least know where we disagree.  You don't define asking white folks to move to the back of the theatre so their places can be taken by black folks as racism?

I'm not answering those specific examples but I'm saying that it's not context-free.

And I said there are levels, and ours are set differently.

Why? I bet if someone asked if sending black people to the back so white people could come up front was racist you'd have no problem defining that.

Equality is equality. Canadians like equality and justice and fair play. You cannot tell them that judging the actions of blacks and whites has to be by different criteria and have them not dismiss you as intellectually dishonest. Progressives have widened the scope of the term 'racism' so very broadly (although only for whites) that virtually any comment that is unflattering, or even can be construed as unflattering or unwelcoming or unappreciative about almost any group (except whites) can draw cries of racism. They have this cultural Marxism belief in the total equality of all cultures and peoples - which is complete bullshit, by the way. But at the same time as they impose this 'no judgement' rule on other identity groups they're nearly in a sanctimonious frenzy of condemnation at the slightest hint of discrimination on the part of whites. Hell, even if they can't identify it, can't point out how it's discriminatory, they just use the handy term "Systemic", as a catchall.

If that was a white woman on the stage demanding all blacks go to the rear to make way for white people you'd be demanding she be punched in the face.  But nope nope, can't say a word against it.

Equality is equality.
And equity is equity.

And equity is equity.

eq-ui-ty: the quality of being fair and impartial.

When you choose one race over another you are not being impartial  or fair. When you judge people of the same actions by different standards because of their race you are not being fair or impartial.

A teacher buys a poor student a winter jacket because his father lost his job and his family can’t afford it this year. That’s equity. That’s fair.

The rich kid in the class whines to the principal that the teacher should buy ALL the students in the class a winter coat because that’s equality. That’s your position right now.

If you take that example and support the rich kid because he's black, that's yours.

If you seem to understand the concept why do your posts indicate totally the opposite?

In that case, it was you who missed the point.

Probably because I wasn't replying to you, and you were unfamiliar with the posts of the person to whom I was replying.  You should try to do better.
