The post you removed explained the 'issue:'

https://canadianpoliticalevents.createaforum.com/stuff-you-need-to-know/news/msg50612/#msg50612

O.k. I guess? I had no idea you had done that. Now I guess that you've awarded me some new buttons? Now I'm curious to know who else has the same buttons?

Can this work or is this the end of the forum?

OH, and I have a 'remove topic' button too. Better send a p.m. to me before I sign off. Or deal with it in your own time. I won't dick around with my new buttons.

It isn't an issue. I've linked to the explanation.

This change was implemented in July 2019. You only get the buttons when you start the topic.

Yeah, I get it now but was completely unaware of it until now. Probably mostly because I didn't consider that such a thing would be possible.

So I'm wondering if you care enough to set it right again or are you just too fed up with it all?

If the former then p.m. or email me and I may have some suggestions. But first, are you the owner or just working for him/her?

O.k. thanks. I get it now. weird!

it's not weird... your pants are weird! The originator of a thread has 'moderator' keys to that thread... I believe member squiggy is the only one to have previously purposely deleted the posts of another member - I stand to be corrected member squiggy!

by the by, I'm not sure if one can actually delete the thread one has created... say by removing the originating post??? Member Montgomery, you seem to have a few threads kickin' around - perhaps give it a try and report back. Thanks in advance!  ;D

Shady deleted some of mine, I think.   But I don’t remember whining and snivelling about it like some are apt to do...

I deleted all the posts in a thread of mine once but that included my own posts as well.

No waldo, all my threads are very important. All I know is that I also have a button to delete the entire thread.

Then spare us and hit that button.

It's set exactly the way that I want it.

Trump lost the popular vote as well as the EC vote and he still tries to relinquish power. I'd say that makes him an attempted dictator. I wait with baited breath to see how the American legal system will deal  with such, especially since it's a premier event.
