it's not weird... your pants are weird! The originator of a thread has 'moderator' keys to that thread... I believe member squiggy is the only one to have previously purposely deleted the posts of another member - I stand to be corrected member squiggy!
by the by, I'm not sure if one can actually delete the thread one has created... say by removing the originating post??? Member Montgomery, you seem to have a few threads kickin' around - perhaps give it a try and report back. Thanks in advance! 
No waldo, all my threads are very important. All I know is that I also have a button to delete the entire thread.
