Most presidents have been in their 50's, with a few in the 60's or 40's. JFK was not the youngest, as Theodore Roosevelt beat him by almost a year.

Trump however has been the only President first elected in his 70's, and we see the effect of his creeping dementia. Maybe Buttigieg can use that against him, and demonstrate the need for an active and healthy mind.

Ronald Reagan was sworn in just weeks ahead of his 70th birthday.  He ended up showing signs of dementia during his 2nd term as President.

True. Of course everybody is different. But then again they don't give politicians a brain scan as some sort of vetting for being nominated.

Ronald Reagan was sworn in just weeks ahead of his 70th birthday.  He ended up showing signs of dementia during his 2nd term as President.

The info seems to indicate he was suffering from Alzheimer's earlier then that, and if I were a betting man, from Trumps slurred speech pattern, and other behavioural displays I would say he has early onsent dementia although he for sure has adhd and dyslexia which makes diagnosing his kind of dementia complex but for sure he has an neurological illness. Watch his conversations on you tube from ten to twenty years ago compared with today. You will see his pattern of speech and syntax has dramatically changed. He also can not grasp things in one hand all signs of something they are hiding. For all we know he had a small stroke and has dementia. His sudden mood changes certainly also add to that likelihood.

Don't be surprised if  people bush for Michelle Obama. I still think that's a scheme certain Dems want her. Here is the problem-if they can't find someone soon, Trump could be re-elected by default. I think Trump could easily beat Biden If I am Democrats I would seriously get real and find a Senator they can all live with.
